Luxtreme has more structure and hold than Nulux, creating a supportive, locked-in sensation through the thighs and calves. The high-rise waistband uses bonded edges instead of stitched seams, eliminating dig points during sustained running effort.
The bonded side pockets sit flush against the thigh and hold a standard smartphone without bouncing. The 28-inch inseam provides full ankle coverage — useful for cold-weather runs where exposed skin between tight and shoe creates discomfort. The 25-inch option is available for those who prefer a shorter cut.
Fabric & Feel
Luxtreme is lululemon’s smoothest, most compressive fabric. The 71/29 nylon-Lycra blend has a cool, almost silky hand feel with moderate compression that smooths and supports without restricting movement. It’s heavier than Nulux, which makes it less ideal for summer running but better suited for fall, winter, and spring conditions where a light insulating layer is welcome.
