Fit
The Nike Dri-FIT Go lives up to its “firm-support” billing from the moment you pull them on. The compression is noticeably more aggressive than Nike’s standard legging offerings — these are built to hold everything in place and reduce muscle oscillation during high-impact movement. The wide high-rise waistband sits about two inches above the navel, stays flat, and doesn’t roll or fold even during the most dynamic workouts. The fit is body-skimming without feeling sausage-like, and the built-in gusset gives you full freedom through squats, lunges, and lateral movements.
One important note on sizing: these run small. If you’re between sizes, go up. Several reviewers at the XS–S border found the waistband uncomfortably tight at their usual size, which resolved completely when they sized up. Once you’re in the right size, however, the fit is excellent.
Fabric & Feel
Dri-FIT is Nike’s core moisture-wicking technology, and in the Go legging it’s applied to an 83/17 polyester-spandex blend that has meaningful structure without feeling stiff. The fabric moves confidently through any plane of motion, snaps back quickly after stretching, and keeps you dry throughout even a humid, sweaty session. There’s a smooth matte finish on the exterior that resists snags and looks polished both at the gym and in casual settings.
The fabric does not have the buttery, skin-like softness of nylon-dominant blends like Lululemon’s Nulu. This is intentionally a performance material — slightly cooler to the touch, with a bit more texture. If you’re after silky loungewear comfort, this isn’t the legging for that. If you’re after a fabric that wicks fast, dries faster, and supports you through intense training, it’s excellent.
Durability
This is where the Nike Dri-FIT Go stands out from many competitors at this price point. Polyester-dominant performance fabrics are inherently more durable than the nylon blends used in softer “luxury” leggings — they resist pilling, hold their shape over hundreds of washes, and handle daily training without degrading. Machine-wash cold, skip the fabric softener (which coats moisture-wicking fibers and reduces their effectiveness), and these should look and perform like new well past the one-year mark.
The waistband pocket, often a weak point on cheaper leggings, holds its structure and elasticity reliably. The seams are reinforced at high-stress points, and the gusset shows no signs of wear even after sustained use.
Value
At $65, the Nike Dri-FIT Go is positioned in the mid-premium tier — above fast-fashion athletic wear but well below the top-shelf brands. For what you get — genuine firm compression, proven moisture management, solid durability, and a brand with consistent quality control — the price is fair. Nike runs sales and offers through Nike Member accounts regularly, and the leggings frequently appear at $50–55 during promotional periods.
If you’re looking for a reliable everyday training legging and don’t want to spend Lululemon money, these deserve a spot on your shortlist.
Who It’s For
The Nike Dri-FIT Go is ideal for runners, HIIT athletes, and anyone who trains hard and sweats heavily. The firm compression and fast-drying fabric are assets during intense effort. They’re less well-suited for yoga, pilates, or lounging — the compression feels like overkill for low-impact activity. If your workouts skew high-intensity, this is one of the best-value options under $70 on the market.
